EVS, Inc. is celebrating 40 years in business. We've been providing Civil and Electrical Engineering, Land Surveying, and Environmental services since 1979. Many years ago, I had a vision for EVS to become a leader in the nenewable energy market.

Since 1979, EVS has provided civil and electrical engineering, land surveying and environmental permitting assistance to customers throughout the U.S. By 1991, the company started doing civil designs for the U.S. Military and by late 2010, began working in wind energy. EVS entered the solar market in late 2014 and further grew the company. Today over half of EVS' work has to do with engineering the civil and electrical designs for the U.S. solar market. Over the years, EVS has been involved in prestigious projects such as the Minnesota Vikings' U.S. Bank Stadium, the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium, and numerous Light Rail and highway transit projects.

EVS Chairman of the Board, Dennis Kim, had a vision to evolve EVS into a leading energy services firm. The vision was based on more than a business opportunity, but a desire to do something great for our world. Renewable energy is one of our highest priorities and we strive to bring engineering solutions to protect our environment and build for the future. We work on some of the largest renewable energy projects across the country as we support utility scale solar PV, community solar gardens, and wind projects.

EVS introduced structural engineering, design, and optimization, as part of our engineering and design services for all our customers in 2019. We added these capabilities to our full-service offerings for civil and electrical engineering, power studies, survey and field services, battery storage and micro-grid development, and energy analytics, providing a well-rounded suite of engineer of record (EOR) services that have special application for our solar customers. EVS' structural team has extensive experience in many facets of the commercial, power, micro-grid and industrial markets with a special emphasis on constructability of all our projects.

Surveying is the foundation upon which many important decisions are made. EVS understands the importance of accurate fieldwork, surveying data and survey documents. EVS survey crew chiefs are experienced surveyors that understand a contractor's demands. They are equipped with the latest technology such as laptops with wireless access and the latest Trimble GPS and total stations, which allows them to be more efficient as well as ensure accuracy. Big or small, we understand that surveyors play a critical role in the early stages of construction.
