The primary types of surveys conducted are ALTA, topographic, lot, acreage, floodplain and mortgage. ALTA, or American Land Title Association, surveys are the most complete and are usually only required for commercial/industrial property acquisition and financing. Lot and acreage surveys are the most common type of surveys and are used by homeowners as well as businesses for financing, property line determination and layout of proposed improvements. Topographic surveys provide the client with contours along with utility information in addition to what is provided in a lot survey and are typically used for the design of improvements on the site.

The environmental assessment team at Lewandowski Engineers, with degrees in biology, civil engineering, geography and planning, works closely with government officials when conducting environmental studies to ensure that the report is complete and that the assessment is accurate. This close working relationship helps to achieve a fast turn-around and approval of report without questions or delays; thus allowing clients to move forward with their project.

Lewandowski Engineers provides full civil site engineering for projects ranging from complete layout and infrastructure design of large-scale industrial parks, industrial site plans, and commercial site plans to residential lot layouts. Our design staff can take care of your site layout; water line design, including site fire protection; storm sewer designs, including detention/retention; and sanitary sewer designs, utilizing both gravity and force mains.
