Shaped by Army values and principles, Monument Engineering Group Associates, Inc. (MEGA) was developed to deliver the highest level of service in all major site development disciplines. Since our establishment in 2008, by Allan W. Pruss, PE, PS, MEGA has continued to advance and flourish. Within eight years, MEGA has grown from 3 staff members to 12 staff working in the office and in the field. We have built a reputation for excellence and efficiency. MEGA's multifaceted practice includes: Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Our electrical engineering staff works with a wide variety of components, devices and systems to design power distribution systems, control systems, interior and outdoor lighting and fire alarm systems.
MEGA is an expert in landscape architecture. Through art and science, our landscape architects work diligently to obtain the perfect balance between the build and the natural environment. Our goal is to create an environment where people can not only connect with each other, but also connect with the world around them.
Before construction, MEGA provides all phases of geotechnical services to help determine how the characteristics of the soil conditions on the site will react under the stress caused by the weight of the structure. Our qualified and experienced engineers analyze soil, rock and ground water conditions, design site-specific parameters for foundations, floor slabs, walls and new structures.
MEGA provides a wide variety of land surveying services to both commercial and residential clients. Whether it be buying, selling, dividing or developing, MEGA's surveyors are versed in municipal, county and state regulations, ensuring that our clients are provided the proper legal documentation. Our survey staff utilizes advanced technology such as Global Positioning Systems (GPS), electronic data collectors and our Inspire 1 Drone. To convert the data collected from the field into high quality, cost-effective products, our team of skilled engineers utilize the latest edition of AutoCAD.
