After 21 years working for Land Surveying and Engineering companies, and obtaining my Professional license in Tennessee in 2007 and in Kentucky in 2008, I decided to start Homeland Surveying. It is the mission of Homeland Surveying to serve God with my talents as a surveyor of land, to give god the first fruit of all that he provides for us and perform every measurement, every computation, and every survey as if it were for God, Jesus Christ himself and not man. I offer a wealth of experience and knowledge to the private and public sectors that are and will be Homeland Surveying's clients.
Draw lot with proposed house location and setbacks based on floor plans supplied by client, for review and approval of the local planning dept. First floor elevation (FFE) measured and marked on stake or reference elevation marked on curb during rough stake of building corners. Trip to site by the field crew, by request of client, and site conditions are not prepared for work that was requested. Re-set missing property corners, on a lot with pin and cap with wood witness stake, up to 4 property corners.
Construction Surveys, or site "Staking" or "Layout", is often required by contractors to ensure that improvements are constructed in the designed location. Construction layout involves marking certain points on a site, both horizontal and vertical, from which improvements will be constructed. Regardless of all efforts made in the initial survey and the development and review of site and engineering plans, it is all for nothing if they aren't built according to the plans. Homeland Surveying has provided construction layout surveying on many projects and works closely with contractors to ensure that the intended design is followed.
