AWCK is able to provide comprehensive architectural planning and design services for both public and private work. Our in-house staff of architects and designers is complemented by a highly qualified set of engineering consultants providing structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, communications, fire alarm and fire protection system design. AWCK's Architecture's core service is municipal and local governmental work.

Alley, Williams, Carmen, and King's Engineering Department has provided Civil Engineering services to public and private clients since 1960. We currently work with both public and private clients on a daily basis. AWCK provides all clients with comprehensive civil engineering services and a personal relationship centered on the clients needs and our ability to provide quality engineering services. AWCK Engineering's core services are Water Resources, Wastewater Collection Systems, Transportation Improvements, Stormwater Services, and Municipal Engineering.

Alley, Williams, Carmen and King offers a full range of Land Surveying services using both GPS and conventional methods. AWCK's field crews collect the data needed to complete projects in a timely manner. Our GPS surveying utilizes RTK (Real Time Kinematic) network positioning based on the North Carolina VRS (Virtual Reference Station) network. AWCK also provides mapping grade surveying for GIS applications using Terrasync and Arcview for mapping. Our conventional surveying equipment includes the latest Total Stations and Data Collectors operated by our experienced field crews.

Master Planning - Our master planning services on both public and private work extends from site evaluation on new and existing sites, existing facilities analysis, including life safety and accessibility code reviews, and preliminary design, conceptual designs, and preliminary construction and operations cost estimates. Existing Facilities Analysis - This service includes reviewing existing buildings relative to their viability for continued use or adaptive renewal into a new use. Analysis typically includes life safety and accessibility code review, examination of condition and expected lifespan of building envelope, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and environmental concerns.
