Gaskins provides both NPDES and general construction services to ensure success during the construction phase of a project. Since the NPDES act was passed in 2000, Gaskins has provided environmental services with the goal of keeping projects in compliance and protecting our clients. Our engineers are GaSWCC Level 1-A, 1-B certified, and Level II Design Professionals, and are able to provide all necessary services to ensure compliance with permit requirements. Many of our engineers have a construction management background, allowing them to handle many construction management tasks related to taking a project from the design phase through the close-out of construction.

Residential development is Gaskins' specialty. From large, master-planned golf communities, to mixed-used projects and residential subdivisions, Gaskins has the experience and skills to add value at every turn. Gaskins has surveyed and designed tens of thousands of residential lots. Our respected team is knowledgeable in navigating the increasingly complex permitting associated with residential projects. The project included 2,700 lots, an 18-hole golf course, a 50-acre amenity area with swim and tennis facilities, and a 40-acre commercial site located on a total of 1,870 acres.

Industrial development requires specialized knowledge of site preparation and environmental considerations. Gaskins has the skills and personnel required for exceptional productivity. Prior to the preparation of any plans, our staff carefully studies the requirements of an industrial site. Fully understanding those needs is key to providing practical design solutions. Today, Gaskins Surveying uses the latest technologies to deliver the highest level of survey accuracy. Our latest additions include sophisticated drone surveying capabilities for a more comprehensive assessment of project sites, high-resolution photos, and large-scale mapping. Gaskins has long-lasting relationships with many developers and contractors, some through four decades of service. After the historic flood in September 2009, Cobb County Water System staff set goals of identifying damage and working closely with FEMA staff.
