From the initial project consultation and sketch plan preparation, to the final plan approval, EBWA has helped guide clients through the challenging and ever-changing land development process since 1985. An accurate land survey serves as the foundation for the subdivision and land development process. Our experienced staff is focused on preparing our survey plans in a timely manner, while always remaining thorough in our preparation. From subdivision and land development plan reviews, to the design of parks and highway improvements, EBWA works closely with municipalities to carry out their goals and the goals of their corresponding communities.
Founded in 1985, Edward B. Walsh & Associates, Inc., was established to provide Complete Civil Engineering Design and Consultation Services and Land Surveying Services to the development, construction and building industries in both the private and public sectors. Since our founding, EBWA has been committed to understanding and meeting the civil engineering and surveying needs of our clients. Our professional staff draws upon its experience as civil engineers, surveyors, environmental scientists, and landscape architects to provide solutions in the development of a project, while always remaining client-focused.
Edward B. Walsh & Associates, Inc. (EBWA) was commissioned by the Jerrehian Estate to provide boundary and topographic surveys and civil engineering design services related to the development of a 20.5 acre tract of ground in West Goshen Township Chester County, PA into 25 single family lots. EBWA provided road design, grading, stormwater management and erosion control. EBWA also attended and presented before the Planning Commission and Township Supervisors for approvals. The design of the road entering the site required a stream crossing and construction of a three cell concrete box culvert.
Environmental concerns can oftentimes present a challenge during the land development process. Whether a property contains wetlands or needs soil testing, EBWA's familiarity with federal, state and local procedures can help navigate any issues and offer solutions towards the appropriate planning of a project. EBWA has also assisted in the design of numerous environmentally-sensitive LEED Certified new construction projects.
Thank you to all of our clients, associates and friends for helping us celebrate our 30th anniversary last night! To show our appreciation we will be making a donation to the Chester County Food Bank for their use during the holiday season.
