Sparta has been home base for Heine Plumbing since 1980 when we began tackling plumbing problems large and small. Today, we're still hard at work to help make your daily home life some combination of safer, more convenient and more comfortable. If you live anywhere in Sussex or surrounding counties, you're within our service territory. And that includes the five communities listed below.
And, because there's no water to be kept constantly heated, you'll save money on your energy bills, too. Once you turn on a hot water faucet or appliance, cold water immediately begins to flow into your tankless system's heat exchanger. There, it's instantly heated and sent on its way. And since there's no storage tank capable of running out of hot water, you won't have to worry about running out. No storage tank also means lower energy costs since your water won't need to be heated 24/7. Already have a tankless water heater?
Never mind the plumbing leaks you see. What about those you can't, at least not until major damage has already occurred and you wish you had found out sooner? These and other warning signs all point to a hidden water leak and the need to take timely corrective action. May we recommend an action that works every time? We have equipment that allows us to see behind walls, under concrete slabs, even inside sewer and drain lines. That leads to faster and more accurate leak detection, the first essential step in stopping the leak and getting the problem fixed.
Does a 5-year old, on career day, ever raise his or her hand and announce: "When I grow up, I want to clear clogged toilets and drains, no matter how gross they might be!" No doubt there are a few such brave souls around, the majority being sons and daughters of experienced plumbers. Bottom line, if you're having any kind of sewer or drain problem, contact Heine Plumbing now. Not only can we do the job, we're eager to help out. Often times, the source of the problem isn't readily apparent. That's when you'll appreciate the full measure of our drain cleaning prowess, including in-line drain video inspection.
Drain cleaning by itself doesn't always solve the problem. Take, for example, when an indoor or outdoor drain line has developed a crack, leak, or has become completely blocked up by tree and shrub roots. In all such instances, Heine Plumbing has the equipment, experience, and added resources to repair or replace any residential drain line. We'll carefully troubleshoot the problem, give you an upfront price estimate and our best recommendation on how to make things right again. We also promise to minimize any inconvenience during the repair process and to thoroughly clean up after ourselves.
If your parents or grandparents went shopping today for new plumbing, chances are some serious head scratching would take place. Take new low-flush toilets, for example, now available in single flush and dual flush models. It wasn't that long ago (the 1980's, to be exact), when toilets used 3.5 gallons per flush. Today, there is no toilet you can buy that uses more than 1.6 gallons, and there's still plenty of flushing power. The half flush mode on a dual flush toilet uses even less water. New water heaters also feature greater energy efficiency plus an expanded range of options.
Some hard water problems can't be readily detected. Take, for example, the damage caused by excess mineral deposits inside your water heater or pipes. It's extensive enough to shorten their lifespan. Hard water also can cost you a bunch of money in extra cleaning and personal hygiene products - and then there's the possibility of plumbing repairs and a shorter lifespan for your dishwasher and washing machine. A water softener is an appliance we connect to your home's water supply. Water softeners employ a process called ion exchange that replaces the hard-water-causing minerals with sodium ions.
By that standard, you're in very good hands with John and Kris Heine at the helm of Heine Plumbing. Here's some background information on each. John launched his plumbing career in 1968 and, seven years later, earned his New Jersey State Master Plumber license (#5668). After moving to Sussex County in 1978, he continued plying his residential plumbing and heating craft. In 1982, John and his wife, Dotty, incorporated their business, further solidifying their Northern New Jersey roots. During this time John saw the need to foster professionalism in the plumbing industry, so he became active in the NJ State Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractor's Association.
You don't ask much of your home plumbing. Just what your boss or clients ask of you: "please do your job to the best of your abilities so I can count on you." Well, try as it might, a water heater is all too "human" in that it's prone to fail every now and then. For starters, it's average lifespan is only about 6 - 10 years. Once it reaches or, if you're lucky, exceeds that range, all kinds of things can go wrong. Wouldn't it be great if most repair issues could be prevented? Well, now they can be with an annual performance and safety inspection performed by Heine Plumbing.

Does that sound like the kind of plumbing service you could get used to?
