When looking to build a modern home in the middle of the desert, you needn't look further than Kevin B. Howard Architects. Kevin B. Howard Architects delivers a building process that is both streamlined and state of the art. The firm's most recent endeavor, a design studio and furniture showroom, marks a tremendous milestone for the firm. Founder Kevin B. Howard is a native of Arizona; he has an innate appreciation for the local land and designs site-specific homes that are fully integrated into the landscape, adapting Wrightian principles of organic architecture.
In 2010, Kevin B Howard Architects was presented with a problem, how to improve the existing Tucson Symphony Hall and Preforming Arts district. The existing Down Town Preforming Arts area was designed in the early 1970's and has had many attempts over the years to provide a new life to the empty urban core. After attempts to master plan the surrounding areas as part of Rio Nuevo, the TSO took it upon themselves to be a driving energy for Tucson Downtown Revitalization. The buildings creates a new symphony hall based on a traditional three level concert hall, with a acoustical perfection.
Highlighting the trend of transforming the awkward space beneath the stairs, this mountain estate in Tucson, AZ uses the label-forward display racking to beautifully fill a space behind glass.
