We know you love your home, it's part of who you are. It must make you crazy that you can envision how beautiful your home would be when you finish covering the windows, painting the walls and arranging the furniture. If only you had the time to learn how to choose the right furnishings and coordinate the installers. Not only is it a lot of work to design and complete the look of your home, it's easy to make mistakes! What if you measure a window incorrectly? What if the furniture you order doesn't fit through the door?
Theresa Guthals is the designer and driving force behind Pikes Peak Interiors. She has been an interior designer for more than 30 years simply because she loves the work and does it well. Theresa was wonderful to work with. Very cheerful and calm personality. Brilliant and very experienced designer. I was concerned working with a designer meant she was going to force me into what I really didn't want. That did not happen. People often think that an interior designer comes into your home and changes it into a model home using current trends.
Interior designers are a bit like photographers in that they know how to arrange a space to make it visually appealing. They use mathematics and the color wheel to help you organize your favorite belongings, furniture, paint colors, window treatments and embellishments in a way that makes people feel comfortable in your home. Designer Theresa Guthals, also takes into account how you use the space. For example, a wood floor may look beautiful when it's first installed, but if you have dogs then it may not be the best choice for flooring.
This family of window treatments offers a lot of options. We only sell Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters because they make the best product available. We value American-made products and appreciate that they have a factory right here in Colorado. We also hand select our installers and coordinate the installation with your schedule. We make sure it gets done right. Our designer, Theresa Guthals, has been working in interior design for more than 30 years and has designed hundreds of window treatments.
Many people rely on ready-made drapes and big-box store curtain rods to cover their windows, but the selection is very limited. You may save money in the short term by buying something inexpensive, but it probably won't be the right size or shape. The fabric may not meet your needs for letting in light and cheap rods may not hold up in the long term. Sometimes people buy ready-made drapes because they are inexpensive and you don't have to worry about spending a lot of money on something you ultimately don't like.
