Founded in 2004, AAHID is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that board-certifies interior designers in the U.S. and Canada who specialize in healthcare - including acute care, ambulatory care, and residential care facility design. Led by a volunteer board of directors, we are constantly striving to improve our certification process, study materials, and exam. We depend on the experience and expertise of those in the field to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and competence.
