At Waukesha Plumbing your satisfaction is our #1 goal. We take great pride in doing it correctly the first time, and use only the highest quality parts and procedures so that we may meet or exceed your expectations. All call backs are handled as a top priority, which many times can be handled the same day, but always as quickly as possible. When I went into business I decided the most important thing we can do is return your phone calls immediately, show up on time, do what we say at a fair price, and use quality materials designed to last.
About Waukesha Plumbing - My name is Dave Treutelaar and I am the owner of Waukesha Plumbing. I started my company in 2006, just as the economy started to go down hill and I witnessed the plumbing industry quality start to drop dramatically. It seemed that no one cared about how long something would last as long as it was the lowest price. It was then I realized there was a market in going after the customers who make their decisions based on value instead of just price alone. Anyone can be the lowest price - just hire the cheapest labor you can find and shop for the cheapest priced parts.

If you own a home, chances are you will eventually have a pipe leak or burst. Older homes especially often have issues with leaky pipes. Old galvanized water piping typically lasts 35-50 years and then the leaks start. At Waukesha Plumbing we can repair them section by section, or come in and re-pipe your whole house to PEX. This is not an area where you want to skimp on quality. Many other plumbers mix and match parts to lower the price, so that in the end while you've gotten a lower cost job, you have no warranty on parts that will cost you more down the line.
Here in Wisconsin, if you have a well or community well then you need a fully functional waukesha water softener to remedy the hard water. A new water softener will ensure that your pipes, drains and appliances are free of damaging hard water. If you are experiencing problems with your water softener, Waukesha Plumbing is here to help! Water Softeners are sized by the grains - the more grains the larger the unit and the less often the unit will regenerate. The big box stores sell models for a very low price, but their grains are small and they will go off nightly and wear out faster.
The best time to replace a broken sump pump is before the next big storm, not after it. The most common reasons to replace your sump pump is that it stops working or it begins to slow down and cannot keep up during heavy rains. The typical lifespan of a sump pump is about 10 years, so if yours is getting up there in age, don't wait until it's too late to install a new one. There are several types of sump pumps on the market, so which type should you choose? Quality battery backup pumps are expensive and typically installed next to a normal sump pump.
You probably don't worry about your water heater until you get hit with that first icy shower or find giant puddle in the basement. The average life expectancy for a water heater is 8-15 years. If your water heater is older and nearing the end of its life expectancy, then the obvious choice is to replace it. A newer model water heater can be up to 20% more efficient and can save you $700 in energy costs over the lifespan of the unit. If your water heater is not working correctly, then give Waukesha Plumbing a call.
Garbage Disposals are one of the handiest appliances in your kitchen, and is probably something you don't think about very often until it stops working. If it's time for a new garbage disposal, Waukesha Plumbing can take care of it for you. We feature quality Insinkerator garbage disposals to fit every need and budget. We will install a new garbage disposal and return your kitchen sink to normal. Best-Level: Insinkerator Pro 750 (Whisper Quiet/Anti Vibration) - 3/4 HP with a five-year warranty. A basic-level model is for someone who uses the garbage disposal occasionally.
We had to have our water heater replaced and chose Waukesha Plumbing. Glad we did. Dave was fast to respond to us, even reaching out to my request on a Sunday evening. He arrived on time, completed the job awesomely and cleaned up everything for us. We will be calling him for any other plumbing needs. Thanks!
Great job, guys! I really appreciated the communication throughout the process from bid to completion. Super friendly and professional. Will recommend to any of my friends who need a plumber who cares!
Was able to install a new water heater the same day when our old one left us with a gas leak! Has done lots of work for other family members who are also very happy with their service. Would not hesitate to recommend Waukesha Plumbing!
38 year old water heater replaced today (1982!). So rotten the legs rotted off and almost fell over. Full of 25lbs of rust. Most likely costing the owner an extra $100+ a year in expenses as he has to heat through the debris to get to the water. One of the worst ive ever seen
Water Softner before/after- We only use Helenbrand Water Softners (made in WI). A Typical replacement is $1300-1400 depending on how far the drain has to be run. The standard model we use is the H100-48 (48,000 grain). We put extra effort into cleaning up the other guys poorly run plumbing. This job.
Water heater replacement has become our #1 service job. We now do over 100 a year. Here's the oldest one ive seen in a long time (1988). Notice the nice custom drain (garden hose sprayer).
Just finished a bath in Shorewood. Semi custom shower, relocated all the fixtures, added an extra sink.
