In 1983, with a small loan from his father, Bobby Alvarez was able to combine his love of design and construction and created Alvarez Homes. The quality of design and construction of an Alvarez home was recognized quickly not only by a growing list of happy clients but also by the Builder's Association of Greater Tampa's Parade of Homes, winning Best of Show in 1986 for his Sand Castle home design. With Bobby's brothers-in-law Freddy Socias and Alex Socias adding their extensive experience to together lead the family's company forward, Alvarez Homes continued to grow and expand through the years by designing exceptional custom living experiences from Tampa to the Pinellas County beaches.
