Charles Leggett started the family owned business in 1966 as a plumbing company. He quickly added heating and electrical. When central air conditioning became popular in the early 1970s, Leggett Inc. started as a Carrier Cooling dealer. From 1970 to the 1990's, Leggett serviced many commercial and industrial customers for mechanical services. Most of those industries, Berg or DuPont Electronics, IBM, Appleton Papers, and Quaker Oats have since closed or moved away. As a result, Leggett Inc. employed full time CKD kitchen and bathroom designers, a carpenter, and had a full service showroom.

If anyone in my area needs an awesome HVAC company, I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Leggett Inc.! The sales guy Dan, the install guys, Andy and Jeff, and the ladies at the front office are all amazing, friendly, timely and knowledgeable people. Customer service still applies with this company!
I’m not normally one who leaves reviews, but I’m just so highly satisfied as their customer for my recent heat pump purchase. Thank you all very much!
P.S. my wife really appreciated the extra step of putting on booties and putting down the carpet to keep the floors clean from the muddy mess outside!!

Leggett is very reliable. Recently, Andy visited us to do the winter maintenance of our two furnaces. He is very thorough in his work and answers any questions we have about our systems. He is also very friendly. We like him and our dog Dexter does also.

Jeff did a great job designing a system for our home. Andy and Andy did an awesome job on the install. Once in the two systems have worked just as Jeff said they would.

Compared to other companies that do this, you guys maintain a professional and personal touch. Many companies are just focusing on volume to make their money. While you guys may or may not do that you come in and make sure you do the job right and have a high attention to detail. I hope that never changes for you guys. That is ultimately why we ended up going with you. You didn't make us feel like a number. You may have been a little more expensive but the personal touch and quality makes up for the price difference for sure.
