We visit your home, measure the windows and discuss your preferences. Color samples and sketches are presented to facilitate final selections. Our workrooms fabricate and install the draperies or blinds to exact specifications.

For this project Kathy Appel, ASID received a 2018 IDA (Interior Design Award) Honorable Mention for a Residential Bath under fifty thousand dollars. Projects are judged on the client's design objective and how well the design solution meets performance criteria. Creativity, originality, functionality, proportion, color composition, and lighting are scored. Points are also awarded for the relationship of materials, textures and patterns. This was a small cramped bath and there wasn't much space for expansion.

This was your average 6' x 7'-6 hall bath in a Mid Century Modern Ranch Home. The vintage mud bed tiles with coordinating green bathtub were removed. The couple living here prefer a shower over a tub. They also plan to retire in this home. Living comfortably on a daily basis is a larger concern than what the resale price might be 20-30 years from now. Keeping core values in mind, they opted to replace the tub with a curbless shower. Detailed planning for accessibility was also a primary focus. Additional project objectives included a modern, updated aesthetic and the inclusion of a few luxurious elements.

It seems like a million times we've heard "Where were you when I was picking out the counters and the cabinets?" They explain how overwhelming it was making so many decisions. You may be working with a designer at the kitchen showroom and another designer at the flooring showroom, but is anyone helping you pull it all together? For a minimum consultation fee we visit your current home and survey the furnishings you'll be using in the new home, visit your builder's sample home and up to two additional showrooms.

Our interior design services include programming, space planning, FF&E specification, product procurement and installation. You can commission us for a specific segment of your project or for complete project management. Whether your project is large or small we are happy to assist you.
