Here is our presentation for a Squirrel Hill rooftop "garden in the air". The garden, located directly above a first floor veranda, contains travertine paving, wood steps, a sedum-filled green roof system, and a water feature that collects rain from a sculptural cor-ten steel canopy. The owners' property is well-landscaped. Our goal is to transport a small piece of that landscape up to the second floor. The project adds a contemporary touch to a classic old Squirrel Hill home while respecting the historic character of the house and the neighborhood.
