Lisa Garcia Architecture + Interior Design is a full service design studio based in Arlington, VA. As a licensed Architect with a strong background in Interior Design, I help clients realize the full potential of their spaces from the very beginning of the design process by approaching their projects from both an Architectural and Interior Design perspective. Working collaboratively with clients, I design spaces that reflect a family's personality while accommodating their day to day needs. Fun, functional - Authentic Design - that doesn't just look like it's from the pages of a magazine - it feels like home.

With over ten years of experience in the Architectural and Interior Design industry, after the birth of my son I decided to open my own practice in June of 2013. Based in Arlington, Virginia, Lisa Garcia Architecture +Interior Design has become a design resource for families in the Northern Virginia/DC Metro Area that want to personalize and make the most of their homes. I know there are lots of families just like ours looking to refresh and maximize the functionality of their spaces, and I love working with clients to create homes that are uniquely their own!

Whether small or large, all architectural projects begin with a complimentary consultation where we'll discuss your goals for the new space, existing conditions, projected budget, and an estimated schedule. After our initial meeting I'll provide you with an estimate of services with a proposed fee schedule and a draft contract. If you decide you'd like to move forward, work will begin once the Owner and Architect Contract is finalized and your deposit has been paid. Have a small project or need help making decisions as you work with a contractor?

The phrase Interior Design covers so many different design services - what does it mean at Lisa Garcia Architecture + Interior Design? No matter what type of design assistance you're looking for, we'll consider these four elements. Defining the Character of Your Space. We'll work together to determine how different areas in your home relate to one another and how their style reflects and reinforces your lifestyle and your home's unique character. Looking at examples to determine what you like and don't like is an important part, but also defining the feeling you want a room to convey - warm, inviting, sophisticated, fun, kid-friendly - is just as important to setting the framework for a successful interior design project.
