I had galvanized pipes in my basement with zero water pressure in my bathtub. They quoted me the average price for replacement and worked well with my schedule. Said he would replace the pipes all the way to the meter and it "should" fix the problem, but no guarantees. So he comes out to do the work and then tells me that he will have to connect to some galvanized pipes otherwise he has to open up walls and cost me more money (something that wasn't disclosed in the bid). Fine whatever. My basement leaks and it was raining heavily that day. By the time he was done, my basement floor was a huge mess, paint all messed up and everything. He said they hosed it doen, but didn't bother cleaning it up. I ended up mopping for over an hour. On top of that, they broke my hose holder on the outside of the house. When I mentioned it his response was "That's just a cheap one, couple of bucks at Menards." I don't care how cheap it is, you broke it, you fix it! So now it's 2 weeks later, my water pressure is not improved (that will cost another $500 and a hole in my wall to access the faucet that someone else will have to repair). Here's my favorite part.the pressure in my sink, which was fine by the way, now cannot run more than a trickle of hot water. I would not recommend them to anyone. Vey unhappy customer here.
