Catworks Construction (CWC) is a minority-owned general contractor headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. Founded in 2005 by Mike Nieto, CWC has grown at a consistent rate, expanding both core staff and service area. CWC possesses the capabilities to service the entire west coast, having completed projects throughout the NW and as far south as Las Vegas, NV. We believe in service-oriented, quality work that is properly planned and dependably delivered. Catworks Construction provides heavy civil construction for local, state and federal agencies as well as private clients throughout the Western US. We have successfully delivered multiple bridge and culvert projects, road construction, commercial construction, environmental remediation, streambank restoration, shoreline reconstruction, overwater work, slide repairs, retaining walls, emergency response, snow removal, and general contracting. Additionally, Catworks has a full-service trucking division that includes truck & pup, side dumps, transfers, and lowboys.
Catworks Construction is a general contractor that started in heavy civil construction. Our resume contains countless examples of site excavation projects of varying magnitude and complexity. Most importantly, CWC has the required resources, expertise and experience in-house to be responsive to and properly implement remedial activities. Soil excavation, waste materials management and site restoration activities are all areas where CWC has developed a reputation they are proud of. CWC's extensive experience performing site excavation work includes excavation and onsite management of contaminated soils.

Mike Nieto established Catworks on a foundation of his experiences in roadway and commercial construction in 2005. Catworks has since grown to provide a diversity of services from "dirt to doors" as Mike says. In 2008, Mike joined the 8(a) Business Development Program and 4 years later Catworks was honored as the 2012 SBA Portland District Small Business of the Year and awarded the DJC DMWESB Top Projects First Place for Public Works. Catworks was also awarded the 2013 DJC Best DMWESB Contractor and the 2013 DJC DMWESB Top Projects for Public Buildings.
