The Franklin

The Franklin Corporation is a full service commercial general contractor located just outside of Bellingham, Washington. We work with both the Private and Public Sector specializing in Adaptive/Reuse and Redevelopment, Healthcare Construction, Tenant Improvements, New Commercial Building, and the LEED Building Process. In addition, we provide construction and project consulting services throughout the western half of the United States. In our 30 years of existence, our reputation has been built on a being a straight forward, honest Commercial General Contractor who upholds the highest quality and standards.

Complete exterior redevelopment to existing neighborhood retail center that included realignment of existing parking lot. Recently completed Lakeway Square was similar in scope to our previous renovations in that Franklin Corporation completed structural steel frames, infill framing, stucco, and brick façade. Existing parking lot was completely renovated to include new sidewalks, landscaping, and lighting. Lakeway was a complex project being that all construction was completed with100% occupancy throughout the center with the exception of the grocery store, in which Franklin Corp was renovating under the same time period.

Donnelly Construction, Inc. was formed in 1977 specializing in the fields of Commercial Renovation, Building Restoration, and Condominium Living Units. In 1980, Donnelly Construction Inc. expanded to become Donnelly and Associates. The company mandate focused on providing consultation services to a wide-range of Investors, Developers, and Lending Institutions.

Conversion of existing interior suite to new medical offices and Hyperbaric Healing Chambers. Interior improvements included new flooring coverings, relocation of walls, and liting and mechanical improvements for medical exam/procedure rooms. Construction of the Hyperbaric Room included new medical gas piping and electrical connections for three Hyperbaric Chambers and the installation of Static Dissipative Sheet Vinyl. Exterior improvements included a reinforced concrete pad and fully grouted CMU walls to house new Oxygen Tanks and associated controls provided and installed by contractor.

Due to the level of patient sedation the medical gas system was designed with multiple redundant medical zone valve alarms and safety features to meet current and upcoming new code requirements for oral surgery clinics. The clinic is able to continue to operate at capacity for up to 18 hrs with power provided by a new diesel emergency generator system.
