Made with a marine grade corrosion resistant aluminum frame, Mid-Cal Construction alumminum gangways are a maintenance free, durable, and cost-effective solution for accessing your boat, dock or marina. The sturdy, all welded design offers very little flex. We at Mid-Cal take pride in producing a high quality product at the lowest price available. Standard gangway designs are decked with an Aluminum surface, Brock decking or Composite decking. However we have additional options to match a deck or dock including Ipe Brazilian Hardwood, GlobalGrid, Tuff Tread, or pressure treated wood.

When home builders The Hofmann Company began its Miramar Subdivision, a waterfront housing project in Discovery Bay, they wanted to offer homebuyers the unique option of including a deck and dock pre-installed. Since Discovery Bay is a waterfront community, known for its boating, water sports and bass fishing, having a home with a deck and boat dock would be optimal. For typical rail installations, Mid-Cal utilizes either wood, glass, cable or a vinyl railing system made with top quality 100% virgin material. The railings offer great style, outstanding performance and installation flexibility. We offer multiple designs combinations and can customize an installation to meet your specific tastes. For additional customization, our vinyl railing system allows wiring directly through the rails for speakers and lighting options. The 100% virgin vinyl resists chipping, cracking, water absorption and warping.
