Retainage is such an unfair practice, the guy in at the beginning of the project, like the excavator has to wait until the painter, paver and landscapers are finished with there work and retention period in order to be paid. In myh humble opinion, retention should be 30 days after the scope of work...
So hard to know how to interpret these statistics, but it sounds good, but then that is what the Bureau of Labor wants us to think.
