Our Design-Build roots were established in 1994 with the vision of Dave Bird and his family. After identifying a need in the marketplace, Birdgroup embarked on a pursuit in Architecture and Construction. We started out primarily project-specific, Designing and Consulting for what became large Rite-Aid and grocery stores, carwashes, coffee shops, and many other retail businesses. In 2002, Justin Bird, son of Dave Bird, took over the company reigns and pioneered Birdgroup in a new direction while keeping its core foundations, focusing solely on commercial construction, tenant improvements, and retail development projects.
Preconstruction takes place at the initial phase of the construction process, from the moment the project is conceptualized. It's the phase where our client's project is assessed for feasibility, constructability, and streamlined for construction.
