Commercial projects often require an architect's design - that much is true. The experience your architect has is crucial to your project. Having an architect who truly understands how the form of design meets the function of construction is the added bonus. Remodeling is often not the "do-it-yourself" project we see on TV. An experienced architect can bring knowledge of construction techniques, provide the ability to comprehensively assess your project, as well as provide innovative ideas; all the while averting disasters.
Dan Featheringill brings a unique view to every project, having been a General Contractor for over twenty-five years and an Architect for fifteen. He knows how to design a project to meet the client's architectural goals, assure the "buildability" of the project, assess sustainability and environmental impacts; all while keeping a keen eye on the owner's budget. Dan's approach to the most important aspect of every project, the design, is to bring a profound sense of art + architecture, creating vibrancy to all of his work.
Well the office staff is getting ready for the Holidays. Thanksgiving is starting with 3" of snow on the ground and a possibility of up to 12" more. Happy Holidays to all from Feather & Gill Architects!!
Our new office is almost complete. A little tile here and a little paint there and we will be done. If you are in the market for an Architect we can give you the tour and talk to you about your architectural needs.
We are almost finished with the house that is at the top of our page. A total style change happened before the start of construction. We have taken our time while decisions were made and to take advantage of deals in construction costs as we could.
Getting closer. Ran out of drywall. Need a railing. Paint and a roof and we will be open for business.
