J-2 Contracting has experience as a contract mine operator for open-pit sand and gravel mining; hauling; and aggregate washing, crushing, and screening operations. We currently mine and sell a full range of screened, crushed, and washed construction aggregate products to commercial customers.
We are capable of recycling concrete and asphalt rubble to produce CDOT specified concrete aggregates, road base, and structural fill. Over the years we have crushed over 4 million tons of concrete and asphalt. The materials we produce have been reused on construction projects in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Kansas. Our recycling operation diverts concrete and asphalt from landfills while simultaneously preserving the Earth's resources. Every ton we recycle equates to a ton of sand and gravel that doesn't need to mined from local gravel pits.
