No amount of technology can truly capture the look and feel of real wood. Not sure that we need to say it, but it takes some effort in maintenance in order to keep a wood deck looking good. However, If you are one of those people who really likes the look of real wood and does not mind the additional work required to maintain it, by all means go for it! We offer several choices in wood decks- redwood decks are the most common as redwood has a proven track record in our climate. Cedar is also a good economical choice.
A composite deck can add value to your property and become an exciting space for entertaining and relaxation. Composite decking comes in many styles, wood grains and colors providing you the option to create a personalized aesthetic. Many manufacturers of composite decking utilize recycled materials and thus do not contribute to deforestation and keep scrap wood and plastic waste out of landfills. Imagine not having to stain and re-finish your deck every year! Despite some bad press over the years from some of the shadier players, composite decking is a long-lasting alternative to wood and we think it is a great value.
