In 1993, Charlie Stewart & Tim Underwood founded Southwest Construction Services. Initially, the company was a provider of horizontal joint sealants for parking lots. Today we've grown to be the Texas-based leader in waterproofing, sawing, and concrete services. While our roots definitely run deep in Texas, we've gone where our clientele took us while expanding into new service areas and working in more than 20 states. While the business has certainly changed in the last 20 years, some things never will.

He is results and performance-driven which has earned him a successful track record that exceeds goals for our customers in the field. Charlie provides leadership, as well as direction to all executives while ensuring the continued growth and development of a professionally efficient organization. As Chief Executive Officer, Tim Underwood oversees sales and accounting for all divisions of Southwest Construction Services.

The Charlie A Stewart Jr. Memorial Training Center is near and dear to us here at Southwest Construction Services. Dedicated in memory to a man who not only shaped the life of one owner but impacted an entire company with his hard work and dedication. A man that we could count on to always be ready to help out when and where needed. With that being said, we wanted to be sure to honor the memory of Charlie A Stewart Jr. for many years to come! I just wanted to take time and tell you guys how much I appreciate the crew that you sent to the Southeastern Freight Lines in Lubbock to perform the caulking and sealing of my dock, paving and building joints. The crew that arrived were very professional, safety conscious, as well as quality focused. It was extremely satisfying, as a Superintendent, to have the crews arrive and the first thing they did when the exited the truck was to put on all of their PPE.
