East Harding Construction is a commercial construction company skilled as a Construction Manager, General Contractor and Design-Builder and focused on new construction and renovation projects throughout Arkansas. The company was founded in 1974 by life-long friends Bob East and Tom Harding. Van Tilbury joined East Harding in 2004 and completed a 10-year buy-out in October 2019. Today, Van is the Owner, President & CEO. East Harding is based in Little Rock and is focused on serving clients in our home state.

East Harding Construction is recognized as Arkansas' Renovation Specialist. 50% of our projects annually are renovations. We have completely renovated 24 buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We have been awarded consistently by the Arkansas Preservation Alliance for our expertise in historic renovation. Our experience tells us that a renovation is often much more complex than new construction. Our team understands the value of forensic investigation of an existing building to determine its structural integrity, to assess its HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire sprinkler systems, to evaluate the condition of its roof, windows and "building envelope" for weatherproofing, to assess the condition of its existing interior finishes and other equipment and systems in relation to the desired scope of the renovation.

East Harding Construction has special expertise renovating buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are proud of the prestigious renovation awards we have earned from the Arkansas Preservation Alliance. Please enjoy seeing some of the work we have completed on 25 plus National Register or Historic Places Buildings. The 13,000 sf Winchester building was built in 1947 and represents the quintessential architectural design of the forty's. Along with its glass block entrance & steel windows, this structure boasts a mezzanine and several store front windows.

Sustainable Design and Construction integrates site location, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources and indoor environmental quality very early into the design and construction process. East Harding has constructed more than a dozen USGBC LEED Accredited projects.
