At Nelson Builders, we realize not everyone is always looking to build a completely custom home. We are constantly building new model homes that feature our most popular plans and finishes. These homes can be purchased at any time in the building process and customized from that point forward as the schedule allows. If time is short for your move, we often have homes available to close in as soon as two weeks. Many of the photos you see come from new models we are building as we are always searching for new inspiration.
At Nelson Builders, we are committed to the concept that there can never be enough communication. Building a home is an incredibly personal experience and we want to share in that journey by helping to provide the most open communication possible. We help to fulfill that commitment through our partnership with BuilderTREND, a cloud-based construction management platform. It's that easy. Keeping track of how much money you have spent on your project is important. You can now easily view a categorized list so that you know exactly where each expense came from.
Matt is a local resident of our Whisper Meadow subdivision in Mahomet where he resides with his wife, Kim, and two children (a ten-year old daughter and two-year old daughter). He holds a degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in Business Administration and has worked for nearly 15 years since graduation with Nelson Builders. Matt began his career in home building at a very young age, growing up in the family business. Today, he is very interested in building science, energy efficiency, and is always trying to learn something new to apply to the homes built by Nelson Builders.
