Jack a Slab Construction is a family owned and operated business established in 1985. Dave Heady Sr. founded the first mudjacking company south of the Wisconsin border in Peoria, IL. and named it Slab Jackers Construction. In 1989 Dave Heady Jr. took over the branch in Slab Jackers in Springfield, IL, which his dad started in 1987. After working the Springfield branch for 4 years, Dave Jr. took a 16 year hiatus to do missionary work in Romania. Dave Sr. continued in Peoria until he moved Knoxville, Tennessee in the early 90's where he started Jack A Slab Construction.

They just installed an egress window in our basement for us and I couldn’t be happier with it. They had one of the best quotes we got and their availability to get it done was so much better than other companies we had talked to. The guys who did the job were so nice. And I love the size of the window they used.

We needed to have our garage floor and our patio raised so we hired Jack A Slab. Andrew and Joe came and completed the work today. They did an EXCELLENT job and were very professional. I highly recommend this business.

OUTSTANDING Company I had to take the time to write a review on the work that Jack-O-Slab did on our property.
We bought a n apartment property and had Jack-O-Slab come out the give us a quote. Their representative showed up on time and after walking the job and realizing how much work there was to be done gave us a quote per day versus a quote on the specific job. The crew that came out to do the work a few weeks later came prepared on time very professional and how they went about proceeding with the work. When they realize it it was going to take more material than they originally had estimated they worked out what was a very fair and reasonable deal for the purchasing of extra material their crew at that time really stepped up bringing two vehicles out to pump carts out and completed all the work in the timeframe that we had discussed with the companies representative. Any future concrete work that we have to have done in the future we would call Jacko slabs first to come out to see what they were able to do versus replacing concrete this is a top-notch company I am a building contractor with over 100000,000 square for the building and renovation under me I know good companies and good work when I see it I can’t go on and off about just how incredible your crews were I was fission they were working on our property you won’t go wrong calling Jack come out and take a look at your job

Over the years my front porch was sinking. After calling Jack-A-Slab I received a fair estimate in a short amount of time and the workers came within a week of the estimate. They were courteous and did an excellent job in a short amount of time. So far, very happy with the results. Highly recommend.
