Crose & Lemke has completed a number of condo remodeling projects throughout the Des Moines area. For this condo, we completely revamped the hearth room with an entirely new stone faade and fireplace. After framing and revisions, we brought in a new gas line to convert the fireplace from a wood-burning unit to gas. Being on the 10th floor, this made the fireplace much more user-friendly for the residents. Cut granite stone was used for the fireplace. A granite webwall pattern that surrounded the fireplace was put in place, with each piece being custom fit and then all edges distressed.
For this project, Crose & Lemke built an entirely new single-car garage from the ground up. Existing garage space was limited, so we built a secondary garage specifically to accommodate the owner's new sports car. Initial tasks included moving services (gas and electric) and working with the city on behalf of the owner to overcome zoning challenges. We created a concrete extension for the driveway, leading up to the new, free-standing unit. All work on the project was completed in 3 months, which includes rerouting utilities, the new concrete driveway and construction of the building.

Crose & Lemke did a complete remodel for this condo master bath, including fabrication and installation of cabinetry while creating a custom center island. We demoed the space and had to cut the floor to reroute and run utilities to the center of the room in order to bring water drains and electricity to the new island unit. We created a unique elliptical shape throughout the room, allowing for movement and multiple users at the same time. The layout of the room had to work perfectly to accommodate the tight space requirements.
