Jim Roberts served in the United States Air Force from 1975-1981 as an F-111 jet fighter mechanic. He learned the importance of attention to "extreme" detail from that experience. Since then, Jim started building single-family homes and today he has added over 500 custom homes and large commercial projects to the Jim Roberts Construction, Inc. portfolio. In addition to building, Jim has dedicated himself to promoting the best practices in his industry by serving as National Director for the National Association of Home Builders, past-president of Home Builders Association of Western Michigan, and served on the Code Compliance committee for the State of Michigan.

Jim Roberts Construction, Inc. has been building and designing custom homes in and around Kalamazoo for over 30 years.
