My husband and I just built our first home and Steege Construction was super helpful and made things very easy to navigate through the whole process! They kept everything moving along and were very easy to talk and work with from day to day which is what every home owner/builder wants and needs. We love our new home and they did a great job at getting us a quote and sticking with our budget. We knew what we wanted and how much we wanted to spend and got great upgrades and saved where we could! We will most likely build another house with them in the future!

Steege Construction built its foundation as a company in 2005 when owner Gavin Steege, his brother, and father started building custom homes in the Waverly area. Being family owned, Steege Construction takes pride in keeping family values installed throughout every project. We believe that we can provide every customer, whether that be residential or commercial, with exactly the type of resources they need. We are a large enough company to accommodate any project's needs, yet small enough to give each project the level of detail it needs to exceed each client's expectations.

After completing her degree in Interior Design from the University of Northern Iowa in 2016, Megan Eiklenborg joined the Steege Construction team as a Designer and Project Manager. She assists clients with planning the initial layout of the home, helps with any spatial needs, and sits with the customer to decide on interior product selections for their home. She is also another point of contact for any project management needs. In her spare time, you can find her going to local markets and garage sales looking for that one-of-a-kind piece to add to her home.
