Danny's Construction Company is proud of our vast portfolio of projects. We are ready to serve your unique needs from ornamental and miscellaneous steel projects to stadiums, bridges, buildings and complex rehabilitations. From beginning to end, we provide intensive planning, engineering, and temporary works design services to execute the most challenging of projects throughout the United States. Danny's Construction's collaborative efforts with fabricators and general contractors have provided substantial value engineering ideas benefitting owners throughout North America.
Danny's Construction Company has been built strong since our founding in 1970. We are proud of our history and the expertise and reputation that we have gained from years of successful projects and practices. Our journey began in 1970 when our founder, Keiran "OB" O'Brien, saw an opportunity to bid on a local school project and was awarded a contract for structural steel erection. With only his reputation, OB needed to establish a company and hire someone he could trust. In honor of his son Dan who was undergoing heart problems, he named the company Danny's Construction and hired his best friend Milton as his first employee.
Our focus on safety and customer service helps us prepare for any challenge from complex rigging and lifting in difficult site conditions, to accommodating numerous trades and interactive schedule considerations. Danny's Construction Company placed over 10,000 tons of steel on the massive Iatan project. Our work consisted of erection of structural steel framing on the existing Unit 1 Boiler to support the new SCR and the new Unit 2 Boiler structural steel framing, grating, handrail, metal deck and coal silos.
At Danny's Construction Company we are excited by the challenge of erecting complex structures. Our project teams work together from inception, and we have an extensive pre-planning stage to mitigate risks and determine potential challenges before they occur. The combined experience of our site supervisors, engineers, and project managers allows us to avoid potential scheduling and coordination conflicts, as well as affording us the time to make necessary changes to each project. We understand the importance of maximizing efficiency by adapting to the changing logistics of each project.
