A your general contractor, Gioffre Companies will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of a construction site, management of vendors and trades, and the communication of information to all involved parties throughout the course of a building project.
As a General Contractor Gioffre Companies would only provide a construction estimate based on the information provided by the clients through documents representing the project. Gioffre would estimate the cost of construction from those documents and provide the client with that information. Once the client approves the estimate for construction Gioffre Companies would then precede with the construction phase of the project.
The process of selecting Gioffre Companies upfront proved very beneficial from a time standpoint on this project because you were able to work directly with both the architect and us to ensure that our tenants completion dates were met. Even after proceeding with the project your involvement in the design process helped reduce costs by introducing a practical perspective into the design process.
Construction Management is the involvement of Gioffre Companies with a client, in which the client has hired consultants i.e. (architect, engineers and designers) for their project. Gioffre would manage and coordinate the preliminary budgeting and construction phase of the project with the client and in concert with the consultants. As the construction manager Gioffre Companies would assist in the preliminary budgeting of a project based on information provided by the owner/client and their consultants.
