Edwards Construction Services, Inc. was founded by Steve and George Edwards in Ocala, Florida in 1978. Steve Edwards' commitment to quality, service, and efficiency led to many successful projects over the years. As a result, long term relationships with Fortune 500 companies and key subcontractors fostered geographical expansion throughout the Southeastern United States. Edwards Construction Services, Inc., a nationally recognized leader, was founded by Steve and George Edwards in Ocala, Florida in 1978. Evidencing its substantial growth in size and stature throughout Florida, the company has operated an Orlando office since 1999, then opened our newest location in Charlotte, North Carolina 2013. Steve Edwards' impassioned commitment to improving quality, service, and efficiency led to extraordinarily successful projects over the years. As a result, long term working relationships with Fortune 500 companies encouraged Edwards to expand the business geographically as well, including projects from Texas to the Carolinas, and southward throughout Florida.

In the Construction Management approach, Edwards becomes part of the team with the architect and owner early in the design phase. From the outset, Edwards provides state-of-the-art support and leadership to achieve the owner's goals regarding quality, schedule and budget. During the design development phase, Edwards offers conceptual estimates and value enhancement services. Edwards also evaluates systems and materials to ensure compliance with the owner's budget and schedule objectives, and makes recommendations, when necessary, that will not affect the quality or functionality of the building.

In those instances where architectural design has already been completed and the Owner requires a fixed price for construction, Edwards is fully capable of providing that service. Based on its years of experience, Edwards will develop through competitive subcontractor bidding and a thorough examination of the drawings a fixed price to the Owner for the completion of its project. Through a complete review of the plans and a good understanding of the Owner's needs, Edwards will look for omissions and layout the costs of those omissions, wherever possible, prior to contracting with the Owner in an effort to avoid costly change orders that neither Edwards nor the Owner desire.
