Century 3, Inc.(C3) was founded in 1977 in Greer, South Carolina, by Howard Avery, Reid Eason and Glen Bunton, all who were mechanical, electrical and process engineers/designers, that together had accumulated over 100 years of industry experience. C3 began as a self-perform industrial contractor with strengths in piping, rigging, mechanical and electrical equipment installation. Since then C3 has expanded our capabilities to meet clients' changing needs not only locally but also globally. C3 expanded our operations to China in 2004 with Century 3 China services headquartered in Shanghai, and S.E.
C3 offers a wide range of mechanical contracting services and has the experience and insight to optimize the planning and execution of projects, system start-up, and commissioning, as well as maintenance activities. Our certified welders, pipefitters, and sheet metal mechanics provide a full range of HVAC and Mechanical services direct to the manufacturers and end-users through design-build installations, ductwork, metal fabrication, equipment change-out, service and repairs. C3 owns and operates a fabrication shop with the equipment and skilled operators to fabricate and perform welding. Our metal fabrication capabilities offer great benefits to our clients. Rather than requiring the services of an additional contractor for the construction of non-coded vessels, platforms, catwalks, racks, ladders, and the like, these items are manufactured in C3's shop under the direction of the C3 project manager. The items are then installed when best suited for seamless integration with work on the project site.
