Founded in 1943, Construction Materials Laboratory is the oldest established testing laboratory in the East Tennessee Area. From our initial beginnings as a small firm providing testing services almost exclusively for the X-10, K-25, and Y-12 weapons facilities in Oak Ridge, we have grown to a company with 20 full time engineering technicians and gross billings of over 1 million annually. Our client list has expanded over the past 70 years to encompass industries from the financial, retail, transportation and even residential sectors.

The information that is gathered from these endeavors is then analyzed by engineering professionals to design earthworks and foundations for the project structures.
