As an early member of the project team, K3 provides the insight from the general contractor's perspective to help shape the planning process of the project. Our primary role is to provide the team with timely information regarding cost, schedule and efficiency of design to ensure that the most educated decisions are being made throughout the design development stage. We also develop a master schedule for the development team to stay on track with meeting milestone dates. In order to provide such needed information our preconstruction activities include evaluation of existing sites, assessment of existing conditions, review of contracts/lease documents, landlord/developer requirements, life expectancy/condition of existing systems, and material availability.
