Poole Anderson Construction was formed in 1999 by the merger of two commercial construction companies, L.C. Anderson & Sons and S&A Commercial Construction. Founded in 1924, L.C. Anderson & Sons brought a long history and excellent reputation for providing construction services in the educational, medical, industrial and institutional markets while S&A Commercial focused on commercial and multi-family housing construction. The merger brought together diverse talents to successfully manage and build many types of commercial construction.

Utilizing a General Contractor is the traditional project delivery method. Based on drawings provided by an Architect hired by the owner, the General Contractor provides a total cost to the Owner for the completion of the project; including all materials and subcontracting services. The General Contractor selected should be a trusted member of your project team. Poole Anderson Construction was founded as a general contractor, and more than 85 years of experience in the construction industry provides us with the experience and expertise to anticipate things that may take other builders by surprise.

The Construction Management delivery system facilitates this by integrating the contractor into the project team very early in the planning and design of the project. Our role is to work with the Owner and their design team to define the project scope to meet the owner's needs and budget. We accomplish this by providing accurate estimates and realistic schedule and performance milestones. As the project moves from design into construction, at the appropriate time, Poole Anderson will work with the Owner to establish a Guaranteed Maximum Price, transferring the risk to us as your General Contractor.

Selecting Poole Anderson Construction to work collaboratively with the client, architect and engineers to provide pre-construction services in the early stages of the project will ensure that your program and aesthetic goals can be accomplished within the agreed upon budget and time frame. Through proactive communication with the project team, we will provide early analysis of the price of various design options, which allows the Owner to select the appropriate systems to fit within their program and budget.
