CCI builds on a heritage of family success dating back to 1958. Our predecessor companies started as masons and heavy-equipment operators who built schools, banks, and residential streets in the Central New York area. Today we are an award-winning, respected leader in the heavy, highway, and civil construction industry in Upstate New York. We build premier projects from Albany to Rochester and from the Canadian to Pennsylvania borders and beyond. And with an EMR rating of 0.80, you can rest assured your project will be performed in compliance with the highest safety standards.
At CCI you will find the personal attention of a family business combined with the capabilities and experience of a national firm. We are in our second generation of delivering heavy, highway, and civil construction services. Formed in 1993 by Doug Fusillo, Jack Romagnoli, and Jerry Romagnoli, CCI grew out of Canastota Constructors, Inc., which was established in 1975 by their fathers, John Romagnoli and Vito Fusillo. Our founders worked their way up from the trenches (literally), gaining first-hand knowledge of the construction trades.
CCI provides a comprehensive array of heavy, highway, and civil construction services. We collaborate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors to optimize opportunities for cost savings and schedule compliance. Employee safety touches upon all construction tasks. Safety is routinely monitored, with improvements suggested by supervisors and employees alike.
