Pinneo Construction partners with Princeton area clients and architects on renovations, additions, and new home construction with a clear understanding that the success of each project rests soundly on the twin piers of Product and Process.

Bidding and negotiated contracts each have their benefits and we're comfortable with either approach. We simply ask, that from the outset, we have a clear understanding of which path you'd like to take. Bidding follows a traditional and straightforward approach to reaching contract pricing and we gladly bid against other general contractors. All we need are detailed plans that should include window and door specifications, an electrical plan, details about finishes, and any engineered drawings where applicable.

We are not Architects but we are, however, good partners in the design intent. We've restored everything from early nineteenth century homes to mid-century modern homes, reconstructed timber framed barns, and renovated everything in between. From the ground up, we've built net zero ready farmhouses and modern homes of concrete and glass. We can talk Fry Reglet or a cornice return and we also know when to step back and build it like you drew it. Regardless of the architecture, we're committed to building comfortable, energy efficient, high performing homes and look to inject sensible and effective strategies wherever we are in the design process.

We set up a meeting (typically an hour or an hour and a half) with you and/or your architect to get introduced to the scope of work and pick up a set of plans which need to have, where applicable, window and door specifications, an electrical plan, details about finishes, and any engineered drawings. Within a few days we return with sub-contractors (if it's a remodeling project) to answer their questions about the project (we just need access to the house) and they, in turn, get their proposals back to us which we then incorporate into our estimate.
