Reed & Reed, Inc is one of northern New England's largest and most versatile general contractors. The York toll Plaza looks much different than it did a year ago. In June we met the project schedule milestone of completing the Northbound and Southbound high-speed toll lanes so that the Turnpike's vendor. The replacement of the old swing span bridge is progressing quickly now as we near the completion stages of the job. The center swing span was recently floated into position and fitted with mechanical components.

Founded in 1928 by Captain Josiah W. Reed and his son Carlton Day Reed, Reed & Reed has a long history of successful public & private construction projects throughout New England. Reed & Reed's substantial equipment fleet is available to support a great diversity of project needs - ranging from bridge construction to wind farms to hydroelectric projects to heavy rigging to environmental cleanup to pile driving, to any number of design-build services. Our modern and well-maintained equipment ensures the success of our projects, helping our employees deliver world-class construction services safely and on time. Our crane fleet includes both crawler and hydraulic cranes. We have more than 25 cranes with a combined lifting capacity of well over 3,000 tons.
