Founded in 1981 by the late William S. Cumby, Sr. and William S. Cumby, Jr., W.S. Cumby provides a full spectrum of professional construction services including construction management, design/build and general contracting. Our client base has grown to encompass a diverse range of building sectors and we are proud to have a long list of repeat clients from the educational, religious, healthcare, commercial, retail, multi-family residential and hospitality fields. We are based in Springfield, PA and proudly serve the Greater Philadelphia and Tri-State areas.

As construction manager, we apply our expertise in the areas of budget, schedule, and market trends to help ensure that your project is executed within your budget guidelines. We will work closely with you to value engineer projects and find alternative construction methods and materials that will result in quality enhancements, serviceability, and life cycle improvements. Our operations staff is well-trained and experienced in the delivery of complex, fast-paced projects while working with owners and design teams in the same partnership approach that defines us as a company.

The design-build process offers owners the opportunity to obtain integrated, highly coordinated architectural, engineering and construction services with W.S. Cumby serving as the liaison. Every design-build project performed by W.S. Cumby is assigned a highly experienced project team and organized carefully with the owner, design team and expert subcontractors. W.S. Cumby is providing design-build services with Cicada Architecture for The Benchmark School's Lower and Middle School Innovation Spaces.
