The Electrical Division of Sullivan & Merritt Constructors was established in 1995 in response to growing demand from our clients for comprehensive, industrial electrical services. Our offerings now cover industrial construction needs from power wiring and motor controls to calibration of both electric and pneumatic instrumentation. The SMC Electrical Division is a significant part of our contract services. All of our electricians are licensed by the State of Maine and work under a "Code of Excellence" program to provide top quality electrical installations for a wide variety of clients.
SMC's Mechanical Division provides complete pipe fabrication, medical gas, plumbing, HVAC piping and pneumatic instrumentation. Our services range from orbital pipe welding to equipment rigging and installation. With an institutional knowledge of more than a hundred years throughout our skilled and experienced staff, SMC prides itself on craftsmanship, safety, and on-time/on-budget project completion.
General - SMC provides general contracting, piping, foundations, steel erections, x-ray quality welding, tank inspections, equipment installation and electrical. We are licensed to perform natural gas installations in Maine. Mechanical - SMC's Mechanical Division provides complete pipe fabrication, medical gas, natural gas, plumbing, HVAC piping, pneumatic instrumentation, natural gas piping and boiler installation, and bio-mass boiler installation. ASME "S" and NBBI "R" stamp certified. Electrical - The SMC Electrical Division was established in 1995 and is a significant part of our services.
