Constructing a pool is stressful to say the least. The first step is figuring out who you want to work with. I talked to six pool contractors and decided to go with Township Pools because –
- They were not trying to price gouge me especially in a red hot market where everybody was building a pool.
- The quality of the build, the attention to detail (Example – drain covers which is flush with the floor) and the responsiveness of everyone from the owners to the staff and superb project management skills.
- Their ability to bring the right amount of design details that comes with years of experience. (Example – what kind of grout should one use on the hot tub to make the tiles stand out but also blends in with the Pebble Sheen Ocean blue plaster or what type of fire bowls to pick in order to make the pool stand out).
- Their ability to envision and execute on the design even looking at one’s landscape such as what tress to get, the drainage and how landscape lights should be placed.
- One single point of contact from pool design to construction to landscaping to pool service all at an affordable price yet maintaining a high quality standard.
We started the pool build on Jan 18th and the transformation has been simply amazing.
On April 2nd we were in the pool – four months from start to finish.

Mike McBride and his crew recently redid our pool with Pebble Sheen and created a new patio using fabulous travertine. They took out all of the original aging equipment and installed brand new. Thank you Andrew for steering this project for us and paying attention to all the details. Your stone masons are the best! We are absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out and can’t wait for our sons’ families to enjoy our new backyard!
