The V Collective is a term that we use for our collective of companies to better explain to our clients what we can offer and how we can execute our promises. What it really comes down to is multiple companies, each offering specialized skills and knowledge, working together under one roof. If you are familiar with a tool kit, you will understand the purpose of The V Collective. A tool kit comes with a hammer, wrench, screw driver, drill gun, etc. just like The V Collective comes with designers, cabinet makers, carpenters, installation specialists, and so on.
Don grew up in a woodworking family. He has been involved in the craft since he was 17 years old. He learned about design by observation and self education. Don started his own cabinet company in 1983, building commercial and residential cabinetry. Over the years, he has built various cabinetry styles and seen many changes and advances in the woodworking industry. He works hard to constantly review what's new and what will work for his customer's needs. Good design and long lasting quality are the main focuses of all his work.

Our on-site workshop comprises of some of the most state-of-the-art machinery used by some of the most skilled craftsmen in the industry. We pride ourselves on everything in our shop, from our Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine that makes custom designs cut to perfection, to our air filtration system that removes the dust from the air every 17 seconds down to 0.5 micron (even cleaner than the air in your house!). We offer more than 100 species of wood that is used in our products, and can provide a multitude finishes to match your style and your home.
At a very young age Dan Hueber began helping his father with carpentry work while renovating their Hyde Park home. As he grew so did his passion for woodworking. Today he is still focused on functional yet beautiful designs, building and installing wood products that enhance customers' lifestyles. The quality and skill result in highly personal, inviting spaces for enriched living. His vision was to bring many specialized craftsman together to manufacture cabinetry, trim and custom built-in furniture in a state -of-the-art in 35,000 square-foot factory direct showroom.
