Lost River Marine was founded as and remains a specialty project oriented Florida boatyard since its inception in 1983. We are located on the South Fork of the St. Lucie River in Stuart, Florida. The South Fork is also our namesake originating from its common local name, the "Lost River". Since 1983, LRM has contributed a steady and varied volume of work to the marine market of the Treasure Coast. Projects range from new vessel construction to prototype design and construction, interior and exterior remodeling, as well as general marine maintenance including all of the trades.
From design to sea trial, Lost River Marine has the expertise to create your new vessel. Lost River Marine's experienced crew of boat builders is our best resource and the volume of completed work since 1983 is our greatest testimonial. Although most of our new construction to date has specialized in sportfishing vessels, we have also completed a trawler style salmon and halibut pleasure fishing boat for use in the northwest. Other new construction includes a 46' luxury cruising sailboat, and the Alerion Express prototype, now in production as a popular one-design class.
We have seen an ever increasing demand for full and partial interior makovers. Typically these projects include decorator services and a well choreographed approach. This ultimately requires not only interior cabinetry and layout modifications, but also addresses the issues of lighting, plumbing, appliances, air conditioning, entertainment systems, headliners, flooring, and wall coverings.
