JAI has been building "New Homes" for decades. We have never build spec homes and never participated in large sub divisions requiring fancy, furnished model homes all gathered around a cul du sac where many builders compete for sales. That is not what we do. We do however build very fine, unique, custom homes for clients that want a home that no one else has. One that is actually designed and strategically placed on a property that takes into account factors that many architects, designers and builders don't understand and are not trained in.

We love creative flooring systems also like the never seen before paver brick garage floor, and idea that really makes sense. You can actually wash your car in the garage and boy is it easy to clean! We also are proponents of the quiet, invisible, battery backed up, side mount operator that eliminates the need for the hideous and dangerous overhead tracks, operator and chain that always looks like they are about to fall on your hood. Also, if you are thinking about a lift to provide that "impossible to add", extra garage for your special baby, we can help with the necessary calculations, research and products to help achieve your goals.

Historic Restoration is a field of total dedication and expertise. It is not for the faint of heart or inexperienced. This is an area of remodeling that we have been known for both in Sarasota and the northeast, where we really got our training since there are obviously more historic homes there than in Sarasota. Sarasota has had a varied and interesting history of what are now known as "Historic" construction. Unfortunately, too many builders and architects are more inclined to tear these magnificent older homes and buildings down to build yet another bastardized "Mediterranean" box than to restore the beauty of the vintage older building.

Wow! How many kitchen and bath companies could there ever be in one town! I feel sorry for anybody that decides that they want to remodel their kitchen or bath and searches Google or the millions of ads they see every day. There are many good cabinet companies that do great work but there is much more to it than installing cabinets. First and foremost, a building permit is required. In order to pull a permit you can either pull the permit as a home owner or you must hire a licensed contractor. There is an abundance of literature available at every building department regarding the process for a homeowner to pull their own permit.

Commercial remodeling is an ongoing exercise that we enjoy due to the ever changing demands and uses bestowed upon businesses as a results of the ever changing economy. This is an area that allows us to be "kind" to the environment by not tearing down perfectly well constructed homes and adding tons or material to the already challenged land fill problems.
