For our clients who may not need full Architectural services, but would like some professional design assistance, we offer a unique consultation process called a design onSite consultation. A design onSite consultation is a fast and easy way to bring the services of an architect to your home utilizing 2D and 3D computer technology in a cost effective approach to solve your design dilemma.

The Drawings and Specifications for your project will compose a significant and integral part of your Construction Contract with your Builder, as they will be referenced directly from that contract. It is imperative that these Drawings are correct and accurately include any decisions or selections you may have made, in order to minimize any discrepancies. Should there be any discrepancy between the Client and Builder during construction, regarding the inclusion or exclusion of an item, it's incorporation into the Drawings may decide who bears the cost.

One of the most common questions we get asked is what to do to start the process for your new home. One of the most important things you can do to start the process is to start developing your "Idea File". An "Idea File" is your personal file of ideas for what you want in your new home. This consists of photos, magazine clippings, drawings, words or whatever else you may need to express your desires. It is never to early to start an "Idea File". Creating your dream home takes time, thought and patience, and the more time you spend developing this file, the easier it will be to express your thoughts, needs and desires to your architect.

As a full service architectural firm, we offer a wide variety of services for you to choose from. We will explain in detail the benefits each service provides and will provide you with our recommendations, but in the end, you choose the level of service that is right for your project. Whether you are looking to certify your project and go totally "green", looking for a healthier home by incorporating "green" design components, or are looking for a "forever" home incorporating universal design elements, the choice is yours.

Upon acceptance of the proposal, we then proceed to the next phase as determined in the contract. The extent of architectural services is based on the drawing package established in the contract and is determined on a per job basis. As such, not all of these services will be done on every job. We also provide 3D visualization, computer renderings and modeling services, enabling you to see your home in three dimensions, and accurately visualize the materials.
